Dried Fruit
We have over 30 different types of fruit dried either naturally dried or with the help of a dehydrator. An extremely healthy alternative to out-of-season fresh fruit, the dried types are delicious when added to breakfast cereals, muesli, home baking, they liven up grain dishes and salads, or just nibble as a quick sugar fix. Dried fruit are rich in Vitamin A and most B vitamins and are a good source of essential minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, copper and manganese. Some dried fruits have sulphur dioxide (E220) added to them to help retain that lively natural colour and make them more appealing, whilst others have been coated with vegetable oil to act as a preservative.
